Setup

The scanner can be connected to the Sensational Ecommerce Solution in just a few steps.

Prerequisites​

  • Administrator access to the Sensational Ecommerce Portal you want to connect the scanner to
  • A new or freshly reset scanner

Connecting the Scanner​

1. Preparation in the Admin Portal​

  • Log in as administrator and navigate to "Mobile Devices" → "Scanner Administration"
  • Select desired scanner type, version, and language

2. Prepare the Scanner​

  • Turn on the scanner
  • Wait until the scanner has fully started and the home screen is displayed, see screenshot

3. QR Code Installation​

  • Tap 5 times on the same spot on the scanner screen to switch to QR code installation mode
  • Scan the hardware- and app-specific QR code displayed in the admin portal

4. Complete Network Setup​

  • Connect to the WiFi and click "Next"
